"Hey Pocky Way" as written by and Art Neville Joseph Modeliste....
Little bitty boy, with a heart of steel
I know you can't boggie now, but your sister sure will
Feel good music in your soul
Makes your body want to rock 'n' roll
Say Hey Hey Hey, Hey Pocky Way
Hey Hey, Hey Pocky Way
Laugh back foolin' in your car
Makes no difference who or where you are
Feel good music in your soul
Makes your body want to rock 'n' roll
Hey Hey Hey, Hey Pocky Way
Hey Hey, Hey Pocky Way
Laugh back foolin' in your car
Makes no difference who or where you are
Feel good music in your soul
Makes your body want to rock 'n' roll
Hey Hey Hey, Hey Pocky Way
Hey Hey, Hey Pocky Way
Hey Hey Hey, Hey Pocky Way
Hey Hey, Hey Pocky Way
Hey Hey Hey, Hey Pocky Way
Hey Hey, Hey Pocky Way
Hey Hey Hey, Hey Pocky Way
Hey Hey, Hey Pocky Way

General CommentIf you go back to the original New Orleans Indian tribe chants, "hey pocky way" was the equivalent of "back out of my way." It was a threat to anyone who wanted to get in the way of a party. But this version is watered down to almost nothing.
