I figured someone should comment on this song. While it is an older Mushroomhead song and a tlittle plain, it still rocks. The song is obviously about being high ("elevation").
yes, the title implies the song is about getting high, but more importantly it is about the altering of perception. its about rapid change, leaving what u were and attempting to accept what u are now (even if it may only be a temporary situation)
do drugs kids. experiment. the world is a big place, but the number of different ways of seeing it is just as big.
