this is a damn coolsong (i love the bit at the beginning that isnt featured on the lyrics-"ever think, did you ever think anything?" etc) but i don't get the random Star Wars reference

this is the reversal of the roles song. the hunter is now the hunted and the star wars reference is an analogy to this, the piano is so eerie and this is quite possibly their greatest song on XX, the original mix has talking at the beginning that really takes the song in a different direction "she's in high school she is sexually active she is doing drugs" i dunno what that means but still the best mushroomhead song

that is purely a Star Wars reference. Greedo was the bounty hunter hired by Jabba the Hut to kill Han Solo, but when he tried, Solo was able to kill him first.

If you notice J Mann talks about Solo in "The Wrist" and in "Solitaire/Unraveling." In one interview I read with him, he loves Star Wars, so that explains why he puts them in there. Also it shows that Mushroomhead doesnt' really put as much thought into their lyrics as well all think, they just put they lyrics together because it makes for a good record and a good show. Some certainly do have deeper meanings, but so many are put there just for fun.

I love this song and it means a lot to mean. it's a deep song about people who are dealing or have dealt with depression and suicide. the whole sound of the song really brings out this hell that depression and suicide is. it's not just a little illness. it's really painful and hard to get through and mushroomhead shows it in this song. it means alot to me considering what i've been through.

Just to let you know, the beginning part of the song... "she's in highschool.. blah blah blah." Is from a movie adapted from a TV series back in the 80's or 90's. The series was called Twin Peaks and the movie that line comes out of is caleld Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me. Watch it... it helps with some insight into the song.
