it's about a prostitute of course, and her being tortured by having her fingers cut off in the end. My favorite line out of the whole thing though is
"our superman found dead in a telephone booth"
It just focuses a lot on how before she was a prostitute, she was a child with a lot of hopes and dreams, and now they have died.
@absentia i agree do u think it could be like a ritual tho -- her death? with the black goat and them almost sacrificing her in a sort by cutting her.?

Nobody commented on this? :O This is the first Acid Bath song I heard. It's quite obvious what it's about. A prostitute :]
Its about a prostitute, well im pretty much saying what everyone alreay said. I really like this song for some reason
This was also one of the first Acid Bath songs I ever heard, and it was the one that caused me to become a big fan. I heard this for the first time when I was stoned out of my mind at a buddy's house.
I couldn't get over how awesome the CD was, and demanded he let me take it and listen to it for a while. I had to have a local CD store order the CDs for me, because I couldn't find them in stores.
It's a shame what happened. This band could've been HUGE.
@EightHitCombo I doubt they would have gotten really huge, what with their disturbing lyrics and album imagery. Also, I don't think Dax would have wanted that sort of popularity. In an interview he explained how, by the time Paegan came out, things were already spiraling out of control, with many people depending on the band for a paycheck. He basically said he wanted out because he couldn't handle it and he had other musical ideas in mind.

no its not about a prostitute
Yeah, this band would probably have gotten hugely popular if their bassist didn't die.
Nice, this is an awesome song. He could just be comparing someone to a prostitute, fucked lifestyle. I think it's "her blood is cold as a loveless kiss."
Er, maybe "Cold blood, sculpture, a loveless kiss." Or 'always kiss'
I'm pretty sure it's "Her blood is cold, yeah, her heroin's kiss"
@Ferrus_Manus her blood is cold like a SERPENTS kiss. Referring to reptiles being cold blooded.

I think its "her blood is cold from heroine\'s kiss".\n\nBeside that, I don\'t want to beat a dead horse but I will mention that Jezebel in the Bible led Ahab astray and as such was seen as a "false prophet" of sort, which I think could be an allusion to the Jezebel in the song being led astray by her life choices.
