the song isn't about being with someone and you both really love each other, it's about usher liking someone, and yet, the person is no longer with him, so "he's got it bad for her" and when he's with his friends he's thinking of her, and when he's going out with someone else, he loves her so much that he's still thinking of her, and when he say's "when you miss a day without your friend your whole lifes off track" meaning that when he's not with his friends he's thinking of her too much and doesn't have anything to occupy his thoughts, like his friends, so he feels his life's off track because he keeps thinking about what could have been, so it's like what should have been, isnt, which is why it's off track. also, when he say's "when you say that you love'm, and you don't really know, everything that use to matter, doesn't matter no more, like my money, all my cars, you can have them all back" its saying that the person he's with, (not the one he wants) when he say's "i love you" to her, he's not sure if he does or not, cuz he still has feelsing for his old girl (like myself) and so he'd give it all back, money, cards, cars, flowers, he'll give them all back to be with her again. and which is why he wants the people that ARE together to look at there g/f or b/f and tell them what they really mean to them so that they don't do want he did, and make sure they don't "got it bad" either. well, i hope that helps :)

I think this song is so sweet :). Me and my boyfriend always listen to it. We say we got it bad cuz we both are always thinkin about eachother and stuff. I think the song is about thinking about someone 24/7...but then it says about thinking about someone when ur with someone else...so thats silly..? well someone tell me what u think

i love this song just because it's one of those happy/ sad songs. If you've got a crush on somebody it's sort of sad cause you think od them so much and it makes you go crazy or happy if you're with that somebody ":you've got it bad" for. it's a great song.
