i think this song is about being a teenager, having new temptations everywhere, not turning up for school and wanting to go out at night even though you know your not really meant to and thats why he's falling.
I agree... and I must confess EVERY time I hear this song, I have to sing along. I am compelled beyond control. Damn the Rasmus and their catchy glory.
ok im not sure wether to like the rasmus or not ... i dunno there soo like cheesy i like songs that leave a message like korn staind stuff oike that but hey i suppose this band is ok too
i think the song is about a guy wanting to be in a band, to make music and everyone (his parents included) keep pushing him down.

i think this song is about the rasmus when they were just starting out and Lauri was like a kinda rebel and he scived off school and got in trouble with the police and stuff. no-one really liked or new their music then but Lauri is showing in this song that he didnt care what everyone else thought: 'made up my mind bout the music, made up my mind bout the style' and how they kept failing - 'falling' whenever they tried to show people their stuff.

I agree mostly with Irishgirl; it's about all the temptations of life n stuff, and like trying to balance between being yourself and who you want to be, and being who you should be, like with responsibility n stuff, but not being able to balance it and just "falling" .. Well that's what i get from it anyway.
I'm sorry to say this, because I generallly like The Rasmus, but this song is just horrible. I hate it when bands SPECIFICALLY make young teens their target audience, which is clearly what is happening here.
i think "ME!!" makes a good point, but i think that he's a rebel, he knows what he likes, what he wants, he doesn't care what others think, he knows he can "do the right thing", but he can't manage to sacrifice what he likes for what is best for him, like school. he falls into temptation of music. "I can't give it up the night is calling me like a drum" the life music gives him is better than school and better things.

to hotsoupwoman... i agree with your point but remember lauri was only 22 when this was released and they were probably just looking back and writing about their own teenage years
