This is one of the greatest songs ever written. That is my comment. Live is the best way to hear it. Go buy Rock 'n Roll Animal, or American Poet.
If this is the Loaded version, the "wine and roses" bit should be there, shouldn't it? Yes, it was cut from the original but it was restored for the Fully Loaded Edition (the one people should be buying instead!) and the V.U box set?
One of the greatest songs by Lou Reed, although the version that's on Loaded was heavily edited. Remastered versions have put this to right. Although it is odd to think that the album came out without Reed actually being in the band. He had left and decided to name it "Loaded", because he knew it would be an album "loaded" with hits.
