Danger Lyrics

Had wild dreams
Walkin' the streets
Hell we were young
Never looked back
So we took our dreams
Ran like hell
Lived a youth
From the wishing well
Me and the boys
Made a pact
Live or die
No turning back
Scarred for life
Then my best friend died
Lost my mind
Made me hate
I can't escape, I can't escape

(Pre Chorus)
I'm a wildcat
A shotgun blast
Madman
We're strong as steel
Overkill
Well no more deals

(Chorus)
Danger
You're in danger
When the boys are around
Danger
You're in danger
And this is the town
This is Hollywood

I was blind
One step from the edge
Spin round and round
Out of my head
Lost in my gin
From riches to sin
Loose again
I have escaped
I have escaped

(Pre-Chorus)
Tattooed lies
Distant eyes
Hollywood
It's been ten long years
Tears and fears

(Chorus)
(Pre-Chorus)
(Chorus)

they weren't in a gang they themselves were kind of their own gang and just were dangerous and crazy and care free!

Definitely one of the most underrated Crüe songs, it has a deeper meaning than it really shows. It talks about a story of a group of kids who live in Hollywood with big dreams of making it. However the group slowly starts getting affiliated with drugs to make money and they all end up joining a gang. The narrators friend dies in a gang related shooting and he goes nuts. The song is a pretty good representation of the loss of innocence in life, and as a whole shows how bad the drug craze was back then. When the song ends Vince repeats “This is Hollywood” making it known the glamorous life is not all it’s cut out to be.

This is the song that concludes my favorite Motley Crue record "Shout at the Devil"... I think they were in a gang... if they were than that explains the "Wild Cats" and "Shot-gun Blasts". I love this song so much along with the rest of the songs on the album...
