This song to me seems like its about his g/f and how much he misses her during the months hes on tour and doesn't get to see her. This is a great song and one of my favorite bands out there. Pat mcGee is one of the best song writers i have heard in a while.
My friend's boyfriend was home visiting her (he's a marine) and when they were driving down the road he started crying because he had to leave her again the next day. So she pulled over into a parking lot and they slow danced to this song. It was the cutest thing and I think about it everytime I hear this song. I love this song.

My mom died suddenly two months ago today at 74 years old. I found Pat McGee through a grieving site. Been playing their playlist. The song, for me, means I miss my mom... I can't get there yet, but one day I will hopefully see her in Heaven. I miss her smile. The way that she carried so much about me.
