Your body is warm
You're hiding yourself
Sleep on this bed
Cover yourself
Nothing will go wrong
Protect yourself
Sleep on this bed
Hold on to yourself
Nothing will go wrong
Nothing will go wrong
You're hiding yourself
Sleep on this bed
Cover yourself
Nothing will go wrong
Protect yourself
Sleep on this bed
Hold on to yourself
Nothing will go wrong
Nothing will go wrong

@The Hammered:
Not that the song is about a scenario like this, but: There was this girl i had really strong feelings for, but she didn't want to further our relationship. We had gone from really good friends to not talking to each other, mostly because I kept distant from her because I wasn't sure how to feel about her anymore. the line was blurry on if she wanted to still remain friends, but she at least gave me the time of day but i kept a distance from her emotionally and physically. it was greedy of me to do so and even though I knew it was wrong to treat her like i was i did not want to have to deal with something I had no ...win in.
That explain the title a little?
Gira at his most opaque... Powerful stuff though.
Comforting a fearful/upset person, apparently, but I'm not sure what the title has to do with it. Great song.
I think the title, like with Blackmail, casts a more sinister light on the lyrics. The emotionally greedy narrator is in fact simply using the person for sexual or perhaps other purposes.
