Raping a Slave Lyrics

Why Be Ashamed Of Hatred
There's Nothing Wrong With Burning
I Work Hard For Everything I Own
Everything I Own Chokes Me When I Sleep
Why Be Ashamed Of Burning
Why Be Ashamed Of Burning
You Do What You Want:
Then You Cut Out Your Heart
You Do What You Want:
You Burn Out Your Heart
You Burn Out My Heart
Then You Eat My Heart
You Cut Out Your Heart
Then You Eat Your Heart
You Burn It
Then Eat It
You Burn It
Then You Eat It...

I think this is about a relationship gone horribly, horribly wrong.

See my analysis of "A Screw" for details.

As for the song, I'm much more fond of "Young God" and "I Crawled" on the same E.P.

yeah, or definatly something gone horribly wrong... this song always seemed like it could coincide with cannibal holocost to me. the people in that movie, mutilated, cooked and ate a toroise-"you burn it, then you eat it" besides that though, i really don't know why. i know this song is really about something else, but it really sounds like something that could be played with gruesome stuff like that. swans are amazing, so many songs that sound like they could be the soundtracks to tons of different things
