this song is how the guy is supposed to feel after being so close for a few months, spending all their time together, even though he's leaving... and in order to cut it short and keep himself from hurting he ends the relationship early destroying the girl.... i hope he feels this way.

I agree completely with Ryan, their relationship went to fast and strained their feelings for each other. This is such a great song, the vocals are delivered with such emotion and strength.
I agree with the two previous posts. He just seems so unsure that he's run away and now questions everything. Absolutely, sung with such emotion and strength, and their lead singer has such a great voice.
