Compare these lyrics with Alcohol The Seed (from The Great Annihilator) and there are some obvious thematic parallels. I always pictured the "Don't talk until you're spoken to" part being said aloud by the subject of the song while in a state of abusive inebriation, while the rest is sort of an internal monologue.
