That is so vivid. When guitar players visit other places, the leaning guitar becomes the center of the room to them, even if it is in a corner of the house.

The thing I love about this song is the fact that I don't know if I should feel sad or happy when I hear it. I'm happy at how good it is, but I'm sad by his somber delivery. I'm happy at how accepting it feels, yet feel like his words mean he is devastated. A part of me feels like this song is trying to accept that he's attained second-best, but not his true love. He's trying to reconcile the fact that this girl is not actually the ideal pick for him, but he tries to make due and love her in the same way he loves the other. By the end, I feel like he's lost his sense of delusion and finally accepts that he's living a facade.
