OMG!! I never thought Switchblade Kittens would make such a kewl song!!! Harry Potter is so very good movie/book wise. I tought they just called this song "ode to harry potter" just because, but then I started hearing "Gryffindor" and "Colin Creevey" and I was seriously shocked!
Although I have never seen or read "Harry Potter" I real like this song...
"Drama" would always bring the Harry Potter books on tour and read them aloud to the band. The band would complain, but after a while they would ask for her to read it to them.

granted, i do like harry potter, but, god this bitch is retarded, this song is horrible. but as the meaning goes, it's obviously about Ginny Weasley's love over Harry Potter.
OK, so this song is semi-lame, but the lyrics are great. Harry Potter really really rocks my socks, and i love Ginny, and this is damn great. It's totally about Ginny and her crush in the first two books (duh), and it just makes me laugh.
I love this song. I was singing it with my friend very loudly, walking down a street, and sevral people asked if we were drunk... Still a fabulous song. One of Drama's favorite Harry Potter character is Ginny Weasley, and she didn't think Ginny was getting a 'fair shake'.
This song is about Ginny Weasley and her obsession (pre-OOtP) with Harry. Harry does not reciprocate, and Ginny is hurt. The lyrics are pretty self-explanatory, now that you all know the context. Oh, and Colin Creevey is a klutzy-geeky freak, so yeah.
And now, with HBP in canon, this song is disproven, as Harry -does- notice Ginny and -does- reciprocate! =)
Awesome song. So catchy. Semi-lame? Not in my book.
