This song sounds reminds me of falling out with someone when you finally realize that all the things you found beautiful in them turned out to be apparitions, displays intended to allure. It really sucks because it works. A charming, pretty girl with energy and warmth who turned out to be a self-pitying, unhappy person. The real pain lies in the discovery that the person you love isn’t real, just a projection of perfection, kissing perfection’s cheek. Hell of a song.
