i love this song! the persistent drum beat shows a sort of desperation, his heart beating fast at the thought of this girl who has mesmerized him against his will... it also has some personal meaning for me. i first heard this song driving in a car with my best friend's brother, and it rings perfectly true to the events that followed!! for many reasons. beyond the personal connection, it's a wonderful song that uses no showy devices, only rhythm, words, and melody in their simplest forms. mason is incredible!!!
