I Got The Blues Lyrics
As I stand by your flame
I get burned once again
Feelin' low down and blue, Yeah
As I sit by the fire
of your warm desire
I've got the blues for you, Yeah
Every night you've been away
I've sat down and I have prayed
That you're safe in the arms of a guy
Who will bring you alive
Won't drag you down with abuse
In the silk sheet of time
I will find peace of mind
Love is a bed full of blues
And I've got the blues for you
And I've got the blues for you
And I've got burned up for you
And I'll tear my hair out
I'm gonna tear my hair out just for you
If you don't believe what I'm saying
At three o'clock in the morning, babe, well,
I'm singing my song for you
I get burned once again
Feelin' low down and blue, Yeah
of your warm desire
I've got the blues for you, Yeah
I've sat down and I have prayed
That you're safe in the arms of a guy
Who will bring you alive
Won't drag you down with abuse
I will find peace of mind
Love is a bed full of blues
And I've got the blues for you
And I've got burned up for you
And I'll tear my hair out
I'm gonna tear my hair out just for you
If you don't believe what I'm saying
At three o'clock in the morning, babe, well,
I'm singing my song for you

I really don't think they abused anybody, I think its simply a blues song written by the Rolling Stones that's talking about a girl who left who one of them still loved, (or it could just be a song) and he's praying that whoever she's with now treats her well. He's got the blues for her, it's like he's craving her, but she's not there.
This is a very passioneet love song. I think the narrator knows it's his fault the girl left him and he is telling her how sorry he is and that he still loves her. Defiantly one fo the better stones songs
Seems like he abused her, and now that she's left him hes got the blues. Possibly relating to Brian Jones beating up his girlfriend at the time. Who later married Keith Richards.
