"troubled by the way..."? "my heart carries on, but my head knows better"? wow, i've never heard this, but i'd have to say SADNESS sticks out big time
i agree with meh on this one. its mostly about hope,not so much sadness. in a way, i think this song is about two lovers of the same sex. i dont know why,it just kind of goes with it i suppose.
To me, I totally relate to this. It's about a guy and girl who are totally wrong for each other-but they can't help but have strong feelings of love for each other, and he's a one night stand type player, but she is the opposite and she can't help her feelings about him even though they share nothing in common-it's hard because she knows its wrong and she can't trust him, but their love they feel towards one another is too hard to resist, and she hopes he can change since this is how its been since they met-troubled.
