this song reminds me of what i'm going through! I miss my ex.....and now everywhere i go something ends up reminding me of him :( it sucks! I couldn't even take a test one time cause his name was used in the story! grrrrrr it sucks
This song quickly became a favorite to me,the beat,the vocals and the lyrics are great.The lyrics alone are worth the listen,and this song is so meaningful,and i think its pretty much well stated by the title of the song what the message is he/shes trying to get out,that no matter what,he/she cant stop being reminded by memories of the ex.

this song was originally written by burt bacharach and recorded by either dionne warwick or sandy shaw. maybe both. it is not originally by naked eyes. naked eyes are one hit wonders whose one hit was not written by them.
