Do you do anything you ever do
No she said
Do you want
Anything you ever wanted
No,she said
(Chorus)
She dont know how
How to feel
This is a bad day
This is a bad day
To know
Do you have anything
You ever had
No,she said
Do you love anyone
You ever loved
Yes,she said
(repeat chorus)
No she said
Do you want
Anything you ever wanted
No,she said
She dont know how
How to feel
This is a bad day
This is a bad day
To know
You ever had
No,she said
Do you love anyone
You ever loved
Yes,she said

I always thought it was about a girl who basically just lied to him all the time about pretty much everything. the only time she says "yes" was whether she "ever loved anyone she [said] she ever loved, which is the one thing she doesnt seemed to have lied about, loving him. why its kinda a bittersweet song. one of my favourites of leisure
doesn't anybody like this song? i must be a strange person because i love it. lyrics doesn't make any sense to me, though. but i still thing this song is great; too happy to talk about a "bad day", isn't it?
Well maybe it's bad because his girl is sad and that just makes him feel bad and have a bad day. Lol.
But I LOVE this song.
Fell in love with it the moment I heard it.
i think it's about him dumping a girl who treated him badly, and feeling the weight off his shoulders, but also feeling bad.
this was one of the first blur songs i loved. its just so happy-sounding, the drums are awesome, and the guitar work is brilliant. as for the lyrics, i think they're quite good. makes me think of a girl who was only using him for sex and he suddenly realises that becuz "she dont know how to feel"
Amazing song, I've always thought it was a song sung to a friend who's having a 'bad day' and he's talking to her about it, probably trying to help her feel better. I dunno, just a guess =]
I think it's about a girl who isn't sure how to feel about anything. I imagine she just goes with whatever others say without thinking of what she herself feels.
