this song seems to be like a bitter sweet cry to ne one who is willing to listen

• first rule of evaluating lyrics is to look for the speaker the speaker is not usually that singer this song is about pain and giving up on trival things mostly stupid negative relationships... while the main chorse is "sometimes the sun shines" which leads me to infer that the song is telling us to have hope. Perhaps this has to do with relationships perhaps not either way it is saying i will give up on things that hurt me and wait for things to get better

the ours cd is a really good cd...its just a shame that nobody really knows them, this is probably one of the most kick ass songs on there

i love this song and everything... i have it burned on one of my juliana theory cd's... but is the cd like really really good? cause i looked at all the lyrics and they are awsome.. and i kinda want to get the cd but like no one i know has it so i dont know what is sounds like or where i can listen to it... well i just need an opinion.. thank you. =)

yeah....the cd's awesome....i bought a few days after i heard sometimes...scared that i would hate the cd cause i only heard one song....but im STILL listening to it...right now even! as we speak!

another thing i forgot....what the song means to me! i think hes saying hes tired of giving himself out to utter arseholes who do nothing but piss him off and suck donkey testicles (could be put into better terms i know, but, do it yourself!) and so hes giving up on them...

this band, this singer, this artist, an incarnation of jeff buckley....some1 out there knows what i am talkin about...they were both friends...unfortunatly jeff died in 97....and jimmy came with these lyrics...protesting against guns and violence....if any of you want to check out theire debut 8 track album....u might find it online...it was self produced only 500 tapes were distributed...and that was in 93...well i have a copy ....its awesome....their first album is really against guns and violence but in this album, distorted lulabies is more dark, more bout askin the specific yet general questions in life, what we do in life...in the end what is it mean...well anyway....i really really like this band. I don't know why i like to listen to PAIN, thas right for those of you are lost ....jimmy's voice, passions blending in with his lyrics are PAIN...everyday i listen to it...and my heart aches wanting to cry out yet there are no tears. ok dok...this is me ..>SCAR////let me know what u think ....
