Lord Of The Rings Lyrics
There are signs on the ring
Which make me feel so down
There's one to enslave all rings
To find them all in time
And drive them into darkness
Forever they'll be bound
Three for the kings
Of the elves high in light
Nine to the mortals
Which cry
Chorus:
Slow down and I sail on the river
Slow down and I walk to the hill (2x)
And there's no way out
Mordor Mordor Mordor
Dark land under Sauron's spell
Threatened a long time
Threatened a long time
Seven rings to the dwarves
In their halls made of stone
Into the valley
Into the valley
I feel down
One ring to the dark lord's hand
Sitting on his throne
In a land so dark
Where I have to go
Chorus (2x)
Which make me feel so down
There's one to enslave all rings
To find them all in time
And drive them into darkness
Forever they'll be bound
Three for the kings
Of the elves high in light
Nine to the mortals
Which cry
Chorus:
Slow down and I sail on the river
Slow down and I walk to the hill (2x)
And there's no way out
Dark land under Sauron's spell
Threatened a long time
Threatened a long time
In their halls made of stone
Into the valley
Into the valley
I feel down
One ring to the dark lord's hand
Sitting on his throne
In a land so dark
Where I have to go

This song is about The Ring Spell from all three Lord Of The Rings Books.
There are 2 versions of this song. I don't know where the other version came from but there are 2 versions.
there is acoustic version, which i like better than the regular version.
this song [acoustic version] nearly brings me to taers. it makes me realise how much i love LOTR.
When I read the books, I just put this song on repeat in the background and read all three. Very amazingly done, Hansi has a beautiful voice and it suits the epic sound that they have. They are definitely one of my favorite bands of all time.
I herd Peter Jackson thought about putting this song on one of the movie soundtracks.
Yes there are two versions the Orchestral version and the Electric version. So damn great song! You're right Darth Squirrel, the acoustic (orchestral) version is better. The electric is going to fast for a song like this!
Awesome song, I think I prefer the orchestral version on The Forgotten Tales but both are great.
Basicly the band changed a little bit the primary verses "Three Rings for the Elven Kings under the Sky Seven for the Dwarf Lords in their halls of stone Nine for mortal men doomed to die One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne"
At this part: "Threatened a long time Threatened a long time"
I think that it is Gollum speaking
They also forgot "I'll keep the ring of sorrow I'll keep the ring till I die"
I don't know if the song has a differant version, but the one I heard has more lyrics than that one.
I also heard that Olbrich was seriously considered being offered to make the music for the LOTR-movies! Probably just rumours though;) Anyway, I think he'd do just a good job as Howard Shore, who by the way blows my mind off every time I watch the masterpieces!:D
Oh, and both versions are awesome! Though I love Siepen's solos, I must agree that the acoustic version is a better;) The way it's done on Imaginations Through the Looking Glass is best though!:D My neck hairs rise every single time at the last chorus when the crowd jumps along with the music! Awesome:D
