I really like this song, and to me it reminds me of when I was a kid listening to ABBA while riding in the car with my parents. I always wondered what a Super Trouper was and wikipedia has the answer.

The 'Super Trouper' is the name of a range of followspots which are the type of light which appear brightest and keep the performer lit. It is widely known that ABBA were not always fond of performing onstage, preferring the studio to being on the road and constantly on tour. This is reflected in the lyrics, which, in typical ABBA style are presented as upbeat, yet tinged with an underlying hint of sadness.

this song is about someone who is a pop star and while theyre famous and stuff, theyre in love with a regular person who comes to see them and this song is telling them that theyre the only one they sing for.

I find remarkable how the authors manage to not only communicate their weariness of the pop business through the means of a pop song, but also put the myth of the personal close-knittedness of the group – the very essence of their image, present even in their name – to rest, while disguising it into a love-message-of-sorts to their audience. Extremely clever.
