Can't believe no one has commented on this song! The meaning is obvious, and certainly isn't anything new.. but the presentation is great. Great sound, and dominant guitar solo at the end..
One of the most underrated Skynyrd songs.
I totally agree with Nilmerf the meaning is simple. but the song, I mean wow. It is just amazing to say the least, I can FEEL the solos, the guitar its all just beautiful, I agree, one of the most underrated Skynyrd songs.

This is a really nice song, the meaning is pretty straight forward, there's a few lines that really speak to me when I hear this song and they are: "I never dreamed that you could hurt me And leave me blue I've had a thousand, maybe more But never one like you"
