I Need You Lyrics

Ain't no need to worry
Ain't no use to cry
'Cause I'll be comin' home soon
To keep you satisfied
You know I get so lonely
That I feel I can't go on
And it feels so good inside, baby
Just to call you on the telephone
I said...

Oh baby, I love you
What more can I say
Oh baby, I need you
I miss you more everyday

I woke up early this morning
And sun came shining down
And it found me wishin' and hopin'
Mama, you could be around
Well ,you know that I need you
More than the air that I breathe
And I guess I'm just trying to tell you woman
Oh, what you mean to me

Oh baby, I love you
What more can I say
Oh baby, I need you
I miss you more everyday

I try to tell you I love you
In each and every way
I'm trying to tell you I need you
Much more than a piece of leg

Oh baby, I love you
What more can I say
Oh baby, I need you
I miss you more everyday

Oh baby, I love you
What more can I say
Oh baby I need your sweet lovin
I miss you more every day

I think the title describes it pretty well, but i think it's about he wants his woman back after he left her. Lots of songs are like this.

OVER LOOKED AND ALWAYS UNDER RATED. ANOTHER SONG THAT IS A TRUE PIECE OF ART.

My Opinion

Definitely one of their best if not their best songs. Great guitar work and another long one. I'm going to guess it's about being out on the road touring and him telling his woman he misses her and reassuring her she's the only one. Letting her know she's not just a lay but the one that keeps him going.

For me, it's about a man's love for the woman of his life...past, present, and future tense!

The lyric 'I'll be coming home soon, to keep you satisfied'...pretty much says it all for me!

This has been the theme song for our relationship, which in now approaching the one year anniversary mark. I am slow to move in a relationship, but if she is not the one...then there is NOT one for me!
