Into the maze
Enter the medicine handed down
Within these veins
Bleeding with apathy till it drowns
No more to gain
Needing the ugliness that surrounds
Return again
Caught in the medicine handed down
Am I your charity?
For you to look so kind?
But your aim is not quite clear
It’s better if you leave in quiet
Is this mood frightening?
And who are you sometimes?
Don’t try and rescue me
Go save someone else
I’m far past done
Gasping, calling
I saw I’m all alone
Grasping, crawling
Is this not what you had planned?
Oh I’m all alone
Go on hero
You’re faking no one, not today
Stop this you’re scaring me
Don’t even know you now
Trying to rescue me
Go save someone else
I’m way past gone
Into the maze
Enter the medicine handed down
Within these veins
Bleeding with apathy till it drowns
No more to gain
Needing the ugliness that surrounds
Return again
Caught in the medicine handed down
Am I your charity?
For you to look so kind?
But your aim is not quite clear
It’s better if you leave in quiet
Is this mood frightening?
And who are you sometimes?
Don’t try and rescue me
Go save someone else
I’m far past done
Gasping, calling
I saw I’m all alone
Grasping, crawling
Is this not what you had planned?
Oh I’m all alone
Go on hero
You’re faking no one, not today
Stop this you’re scaring me
Don’t even know you now
Trying to rescue me
Go save someone else
I’m way past gone
Into the maze

is this about drugs? i really don't know, exactly, so anyone who has some idea, please let me know.
i have a feeling this song probably IS about drugs. this entire album seems drug-infused. however, i like to think this song is about euthanasia. don't laugh at me. someone who wants to die because they're too sick to carry on with life or care about it. what do you think?
could very well be - though i think euthanasia is getting, perhaps, too specific. the words describe a very close friend of mine perfectly - he refuses to talk to me anymore, refuses anyone's help, dismisses concern... claims "he doesn't matter," etc. he's not physically sick... or killing himself... but this song describes him. it seems to be depression and drugs. some combination... i don't know.
I think this song is referring to a friend who puts on an act and needs attention and tries to get it by acting suicidal. I agree that its about drugs, and this is what started the friend into depression. "Stop this your scaring me, dont even know you now"
I think it's really creative to take "gasping, calling" and add the r sound for "grasping, crawling".
great song, im confused about it thought, what point of view is the song from? the person thats on drugs(medicine) or a friend, he says go gave someone else im far too gone, but then in another part he says stop this your scaring me and who are you sometimes as if a friend is takin the drugs or is he just talkin to himself?
yeah, good call on the attention-needing. "you're faking no one."
i believe this song falls into the category of hard-to-figure-out-because-there-is-more-than-one-speaker.
It's about heroin.
How about something like...

I agree with what's been said... and my breakdown may seem corny but it makes sense.
i think this song is about someone whose been hurt or is depressed and they don't want to trust anyone. (from the point of view of the person who can't trust anyone.)
