this song is one of the best songs off of the best album by one of the best bands. this song perfectly takes the aura of barcelona and puts it in a song, the entire "seven more minutes" album does this practically. amazing.
it sounds just like their song "california" and i like both songs a lot
I'm guessing that "California" (which appears only on the "Poop Alley Tapes", a compilation) was an early demo for "Barcelona". I personally prefer "California", although the two songs have very different sounds and feels.

And yes, I do agree that the album perfectly captures what it feels like to be in Barcelona....a good song for an amazing city
This is such an amazing song, and Matt's voice sounds so perfect on it. I think this is one of the pivitol moments in the album where we are just left in awe. This song makes me want to go to Barcelona.
I really can't stand this version of the song. "California" sounds so much better to my ears, but then, I'm much more partial to the early 90s Rentals/Weezer sound than their later work.
I enjoy Seven More Minutes, but I'm sorry, the way Matt sings the lyrics on this song annoy the shit out of me, although I do like the chorus. (NOT nearly as much as "California"'s chrous though.)
