Wave of Anguish Lyrics
There's something weird I wouldn't believe
I'm losing grip on my lifetime
I don't understand this wave I'm in
wrong place
no money
just responsibilities
My heart and my wish are so far away
I'm alone now
feeling the slow beat turning fast
no longer breathing
I'm returning in my own hell
I don't want to go
hold me into your arms so tight
you cannot see it
you'll see
In another world
hold me into your arms so tight
you cannot see
you'll see
There's something strange you've got to believe
It's taking away my sunshine
I don't understand this game I'm in
wrong face
no money
just responsibilities
I'm losing grip on my lifetime
I don't understand this wave I'm in
no money
just responsibilities
I'm alone now
feeling the slow beat turning fast
no longer breathing
I'm returning in my own hell
hold me into your arms so tight
you cannot see it
you'll see
hold me into your arms so tight
you cannot see
you'll see
It's taking away my sunshine
I don't understand this game I'm in
no money
just responsibilities

Obviously, somthing dire has happened and she's been cast out. I think it's got somthing to do with love. It reminds me of someone fighting with a lover before they leave them alone, she's losing her mind and her possessions but she will get revenge: 'you'll see...'
Maybe you're stuck in this life and that's the problem. You're stuck and there's no way out
Sounds like it might be about someone who's trying to follow their dream (of being a musician, perhaps) and it's not working out like envisioned at all. The stress of the disappointment, broken dreams and lack of money has caused that person to have a panic attack. "A Wave of Anguish" sums up perfectly how a panic attack feels, in my opinon.
It seems to me its about trying to be independent and realizing what its all about...no money, just responsibility
My heart and my wish are so far away I'm alone now feeling the slow beat turning fast no longer breathing I'm returning in my own hell is my favorite part of any song, i love the shouting melody they have going on.
To me this song can be summed up by the quote:
"Life is what happens to us while we are making other plans"
In other words, what they imagined their life to be has turned out very different to the life they actually live (could be in relation to their music careers, a romantic relationship etc. etc.)
