A Current Obsession Lyrics
Come to me
to feel my protection
a countdown to my revelation
no more respect
for your regrets
And your time has come
The naked truth is in disguise
It's your secret complication
exhausted of this sacrifice
just like a lying preacher
Hiding to survive
So strong living in torture
I know that you will never see
the light again
So hard living in torture
erase the burning fear into
your eyes again
The silent scream is stronger now
you cannot keep it too long
this cloud evolving into rain
your desert seems so far now
Come into my arms
Following your line
I'm losing mine
to feel my protection
a countdown to my revelation
no more respect
for your regrets
It's your secret complication
exhausted of this sacrifice
just like a lying preacher
I know that you will never see
the light again
erase the burning fear into
your eyes again
you cannot keep it too long
this cloud evolving into rain
your desert seems so far now
I'm losing mine

I can't believe no one's commented on this song, it's my favorite Lacuna Coil song ever!!!
I get the impression that the lyrics are about depression, and being controlled by someone stronger than you. Someone you can't get away from, who treats you with a total lack of respect.
^ I agree with you 100%.
Following your line I'm losing mine ^That's powerful.
I can relate to this song..
This was the first Lacuna Coil song I'd ever heard while browsing through WinMX years ago. It opened the floodgates, so to speak, in my interest in the band. Love it a lot.
The person can pull the plug on the relationship with so and so, but doesn't, though the person longed for it. So and so has been lying and can't face the truth, so they go to the person they treated badly, who wanted a good relationship with them at first but recently just wanted to get rid of them. There's a definite ambivalence of the tortured person in the song. I've felt this way with people who've hurt me too before.
