This Is My Dream Lyrics
I'll never find another way to be
And like an actor I do
The best I can
This is my dream
Believe in yourself
In all the things you do
This is my dream
Believe in yourself and all your dreams come true
You want it
You'll never find another way to be
You'll never change the way to live your life
I cannot write all my confessions
But alone with myself
I can't remind my past
This is my dream
Believe in yourself I know this time you could
This is my dream
Believe in yourself but
Never be so sure
You want it
You'll never find another way to be
You'll never change the way to live your life
And like an actor I do
The best I can
In all the things you do
You want it
You'll never change the way to live your life
But alone with myself
I can't remind my past
You want it
You'll never change the way to live your life

Brilliant song. Probably my favorite (damn, doesn't it songe very song is?). This is probably my favorite though honesty, it's so beautiful...The male's voice as he opens was so great. This song is so soft...Man, it's frickin' great.
It's rather obvious what it's about, though.
It always seemed to me as if the two singers are talking to eachother about a dream they share, but maybe I'm wrong.
I can see Ancient Lorcado's point of view, it's not a bad one either. I tend to think the song is just about how you need to believe in yourself and everything is possible. Brilliant song it is. :)
Amazing song. Never stop pursuing your dreams, and even when everything is against you, it is possible to achieve great things if u "believe in yourself"
I think this song could just be as simple as believe in yourself. Or maybe its about wanting to believe in yourself. Maybe its about being depressed but knowing you can believe in yourself, but not knowing if you can get rid of all the sadness.
Some people are too preoccupied with changing who they are to be perfect to actually be worth anything. The song says you won't change so just be content with who you are, which will never change.
I disagree with the general consensus. Maybe I'm wrong and it's not what the artists intended, but my impression is something more solemn than "just believe in yourself." I think the song is lamenting that, although we can try, we can never change who we truly are at our core. The tone in which she sings the lines about believing in yourself comes off as ironic to me. In my opinion, in these lines she's repeating the vague, general advice everyone gives, advice which expresses that one has power over one's circumstances. In contrast, the lines "you'll never find a way to be / you'll never change the way you live your life" express powerlessness. There's a clear incongruity in the song--I suppose it's up to the listener to choose which side they believe.
