I still like the live version the best, especially because of what John says in the beginning. " This is a song about talking to the person you haven't even met yet. I think this maybe the greatest song I've ever heard (lyrically). It makes me think of one person in particular that I'd really like to start a relationship with but never could think of how to go about asking her out. She works at the same company, so It's hard to say something, but I pass her in the hallway all the time.
