The Ballad Of Johnny Butt Lyrics
Johnny Butt was a man with a real strong
Will to survive
He just kept pushin' on
Even though he was barely alive
So
Shoot it up
Shoot it up
I just don't matter
Johnny says he wants to go do it
Says he wants to kill a cop
We've got a brand new dance called we've got to overcome
We've got a brand new dance called we've got to overcome
Will to survive
He just kept pushin' on
Even though he was barely alive
Shoot it up
Shoot it up
I just don't matter
Says he wants to kill a cop
We've got a brand new dance called we've got to overcome

This song doesn't have anything to do with Bradley or his addiction. It's a cover by another Long Beach band called Secret Hate.
why is that? if anything he probably heard the song and it related to him, therefore him and the band covered it.

what johnny butt a real person or is he just meant to symbolise Brad himself?
@replica8715 It's about a real person. An LBC band called Secret Hate wrote it in 1983. If you've lived in Long Beach long enough, you'll recognize it's about this one hobo called Johnny Belmont, who stayed over in Belmont Shores usually. 11 years of wondering, all solved :)
