I think this song is about being paranoid. How he's paranoid that his girlfriend doesn't love him and she cheats on him. And the 'cigarette' line says that his paranoia is fuelled by lack of cigarettes.
First line (Song Title) and Last line are very powerful... we all pick up an addiction to get rid of one(weed + Heroin)... Lines 1-3... heroin(addiction) can affect everyone... Line 4 cause life is so fucking boring(which we all understand)... Dreams are our conscious, our truth) whats worse than having another fool sucking your girls dick... we all experience it... Just when we realize addiction affects so many of us... We're not that fucking special... "friends all laughed" because of their experience... " happened to me" our experience... yeah I can't beleive that there are only 5 comments of this song.. it's greaaaaat... the live version on Stand By Your Van is the best, this is my favourite live performance... and this part 'if I was an ant crawlin' upon the wall tell me baby would it make no difference at all ' ... i have no words to say how much I like it.. especially in the SBYV version....... it can make me cry when I hear the way Bradley sings it there... damn I wish I was there....
