19 Witches Lyrics

You're floating there,
you're handing me, a snake inside a jar
It's just to cool, I do believe,
you're what you say you are
How many days was I in that psychotic submarine?
I stumbled out, I took my turn,
and now I've made your scene

An iron cross, a sacrifice, and born in Vietnam
You'll take me home in your mo-chine and tell me 'bout your plan

Come on in, come on in, and put your hands on me
Come on in, come on in,
my love will set you free

I said woh Oh Oh I'm in love again
Woh Oh Oh you're so strange
Woh Oh Oh I'm in love again
Woh Oh Oh you'r so strange ... so very strange

They'll hang me here, they'll make me play, I do what they don't like
So cast your scent quick and bite my lip, and screw my brain uptigh
Come on in, come on in, and put your claws in me
Come on in, come on in, and tune up my mo-chine

I said woh Oh Oh I'm in love again
Woh Oh Oh you're so strange
Woh Oh Oh I'm in love again
Woh Oh Oh you'r so strange ... so very strange

Strange little baby

First of all, this my favorite Monster Magnet song.

As always, it's tough to make sense of the lyrics Wyndorf writes, but I think a lot of the things in this song aren't to be taken literally, but figuratively. I think it's about getting involved with a girl who has a wild edge to her, but keeps to herself and doesn't seem to be interested so much in him, but just sex and drugs that maybe he provides. The line "I'm in love again" hints that he is deeply intrigued by the girl, but likes it that way. He doesn't want a steady girl, and since she isn't, that's what attracts him to her. After the drugs wear off, he may not feel the same. I can't imagine a "psychotic submarine" being a reference to anything but drugs. He's stumbled out, and re-entered with her. I picture the music video to be a guy and girl in a car, flying down the highway, with music blaring, not interested in making worthless conversation, just enjoying the moment.

I think he is in love with the drugs. He can't control them, and thereby can't control himself, and he likes it that way

I think "tune up my mo-chine" is talking about the feeling he gets when he's high. Same thing with "screw my brain up tight." "In love again" could mean "addiction" or a relapse.
