Road Rash Lyrics

take a walk outside it's a nice day for a drive automotivation
the air is getting clear and the time is getting near for us to roll
gotta watch my style cause god it's almost over
got a little more room to try it hopefully
I've walked this earth for twenty years and now my mind is floating...out to sea

gonna hit the van man you just don't understand total aggravation
rolling down the highway doing ninety going my way in control
gotta watch those corners in the stretch of danger
a problem could arise eventually
I've walked this earth for twenty years and now my mind is floating....out to sea

every time I look into the north wind
I can't find meaning just a rhyme
I don't know but I've been told that good things come with time...
let's go!

excellent song, very fun to listen to loud while cruising down the "strip" in my small town, and to yell out loud while walking through school.

This song is so sweet. I love how Mad Caddies don't give you complete phrases but still sound awesome like "take a walk outside its a nice day for a drive automotivation." That makes little sense but its still neat.

ok, here they are anyway: Well the first time that I went out on my own I was a young man almost seventeen right down to the day Well i packed up all my things Grabbed my bag and kissed my mother And I told her that I'd be back someday So I jumped into the back of an 18-wheeler headed north Destination didn't even ask With the wisdom that my father gave me Ringing in my head so clearly Son this world's gonna kick you in the ass.

I wanna go there and I'm not scared Our time's just begun oh yeah Life goes by so damn quickly for me Wanna have some fun

Now looking back on all the days gone by I sit and wonder what it would be like if I'd never went away Would I see the world the way I do The memories that brought me to This place that I now call my home today.

So beat my head (beat my head) When I feel the whole world falls apart In the end I'll be alright.

this song to me, is about a guy who feels he has no control over his life. he is just kinda going through life and not really experiencing it or understanding what he's all about. he's really frustrated causse he feels like he's wasted the time by just going with the flow. the line "I've walked this earth for 20 years and now my mind is floating out to sea." is him saying e's been around this long and still has no idea what he's really doing in life. he talks about driving because it's the one thing he is in control of. he can go as fast or slow as he wants. he can just cruise and go where ever. this is probably one of my favorite songs ever written ever by the way (=). i could be totally off on this interpretation, but that's cool.

Schafe, I like your interpretation. Espiecally about the driving part.

"take a walk outside its a nice day for a drive automotivation."

Nothing like a car ride to clear your head and get moving.
