I think the song means that even if there are many flaws and imperfections in life, doesn't mean that you should be sad. You should try and move on, and be happy.

FossilRoo has a good point, and I like this song, (it's a good whistler), but the main message seems like it's saying when you have problems, instead of doing something about them, you should ignore them and be happy. If my landlord, is going to sue me I'd worry instead of being happy for no reason. I know this isn't the message of the song, it's just the impression i get.
