They're Red Hot (Robert Johnson cover) Lyrics
Hot tamales and they red hot, yes, she got 'em for sale
Hot tamales and they red not, yes, she got 'em for sale
I got a girl, say she long and tall
She sleeps in the kitchen with her feets in the hall
Hot tamales and they red hot, yes, she got 'em for sale, I mean
Yes she got 'em for sale, yeah
Hot tamales and they red hot, yes, she got 'em for sale #They too hot, boy#
Hot tamales and they red hot, yes, now, she got 'em for sale
You know the monkey, now the baboon playin' in the grass
Well, the monkey stuck his finger in that old "Good Gulf Gas," now
Hot tamales and they red hot, yes, she got 'em for sale, I mean
Yes, she got 'em for sale
Hot tamales and they red hot, yes, she got 'em for sale
Hot tamales and they red hot, yes, she got 'em for sale
She got two for a nickel, got four for a dime
Would sell you more, but they ain't none of mine
Hot tamales and they red hot, yes, she got 'em for sale, I mean
Yes, she got 'em for sale, yes, yeah
Hot tamales and they red hot, yes, she got 'em for sale
I'm 'onna upset your backbone, put your kidneys to sleep
I'll due to break 'way your liver and dare your heart to beat 'bout my
Hot tamales 'cause they red hot, yes, they got 'em for sale, I mean
Yes, she got 'em for sale, yeah
Hot tamales and they red not, yes, she got 'em for sale

this is a cover. the original is by robert johnson, a bluesman from the 30s who invented slide guitar. he is awesome, and has also been covered by eric clapton, the rolling stones and led zeppelin
Yeah, but it's still funky fresh.
this song rocks. upbeat ending for one of the greatest albums on earth.
Stupid knoksville fool, how could a one and a half minute song on a record that plays over 70 minutes be filler? And anyways, it's fucking great.
While I like this song, I think it was out of place at the end of the album, I think it would have been better for it to fade out with 'Sir Psycho Sexy'.
I like these lyrics, their so confusing its awsome! I havent heard it tho :s
this song was actually recorded in the garden outside the studio where RHCP recorded the whole album, with john and flea on acoustics and chad playing with his hands. if u listen at the end you can actually hear cars driving by and insects chirping etc. nice end to this fantastic album :)
That was studio-like house with a huge garden. They made it at once! That's amazing! They played it so fast.. :) Original is 2', but they made it in 1 minute :)
Well.. magiK times..
Title is obvious: Red Hot Chili Peppers are red hot and they just had to cover it! ;) But I think that was random decision to put it on BSSM. Anyway, I read several articles about making BSSM, they had lots of fun. This song is kinda mirror: fresh, funky, funny!
What does this song mean to me? FUN! It makes me feel good.
I love this song! great ending to the album, although fading out with Sir Psycho Sexy would have been awesome too. I love the song, and still can't figure out how Anthony talked quite that fast: fastest I've ever heard in any song. I can sing the whole thing, except the "I'll due to break 'way your liver and dare your heart to beat 'bout my" part.
