Drivin' around I've got my baby and my top down
Mary-go-round I ride you for my love
Throwin' me down in the backseat underground
I'm on the mound I make it for my love

Makin' my way I brake another L.A. day
Time in the town I need it for my love
My Chevrolet rollin' to another play day
This is the sound I listen for my love

Who, you talking to, talk to me you
Sound of music

Who, you talking to, talk to me you
Sound of music

I love you swim through me
Good feelings come to me

Sought and I found a life of makin my blood sound
Do anything for the one I love
Something profound the face of God is in Sensurround
I'm on the mound I make it for my love

Who, you talking to, talk to me you
Sound of music

Who, you talking to, talk to me you
Sound of music

I love you swim through me
Good feelings come to me

Did anyone know that AK hates this song? It was suggested to him to write a song about cars for radio play by his producer or someone. It's in Scar Tissue.

i agree, u can just imagine being in a car going 100 mph with this commin out of ur stereo. ive always thought that. the funny thing is that the lyrics are about the lyrics if u know what i mean. he is singing about music that u play in ur car and this song has to be one of the best for a fast car.

i really like this song, it's one of my favorites on bssm. ironically, i read in ak's autobiography that it's like his least favorite song. he just wrote it for rick rubin because rick said he liked songs about girls and cars. but anthony said he "never really found my place in the song". okay, it scares me a little that i know that. have to go reevaluate my place in life-- j/k

i love the way the song changes into the chorus, it really grew on me, however, the lyrics are a little weak for Keidis.

i don't hate it....but i don't love it. Usually when i listen to B.S.S.M. i skip past this song and listen to Sir Psycho Sexy. I read somewhere that (I think it was Chevy) wanted to use this song on one of their car comercials, but A.K. refused because he didnt like the song.

CHANGE OF HEART... ^^^^I love this song now. Especially John Frusciante's awesome guitar solo towards the end. Idk why Anthony Kiedis doesn't like it, it's a really good song.

Both as a standalone and as part of the DSOTS album, you can take this lyric as read. As a matter of public record, Jourgensen's drug intake was legendary even in the 1980s. By the late 90s, in his own words, he was grappling with massive addiction issues and had lost almost everything: friends, spouse, money and had nearly died more than once. "Dark Side of the Spoon" is a both funny & sad title for an album made by a musical genius who was losing the plot; and this song is a message to his fans & friends saying he knows it. It's painful to listen to so I'm glad the "Keith Richards of industrial metals" wised up and cleaned up. Well done sir.

Fortnight
Taylor Swift
The song 'Fortnight' by Taylor Swift and Post Malone tells a story about strong feelings, complicated relationships, and secret wishes. It talks about love, betrayal, and wanting someone who doesn't feel the same. The word 'fortnight' shows short-lived happiness and guilty pleasures, leading to sadness. It shows how messy relationships can be and the results of hiding emotions. “I was supposed to be sent away / But they forgot to come and get me,” she kickstarts the song in the first verse with lines suggesting an admission to a hospital for people with mental illnesses. She goes in the verse admitting her lover is the reason why she is like this. In the chorus, she sings about their time in love and reflects on how he has now settled with someone else. “I took the miracle move-on drug, the effects were temporary / And I love you, it’s ruining my life,” on the second verse she details her struggles to forget about him and the negative effects of her failure. “Thought of callin’ ya, but you won’t pick up / ‘Nother fortnight lost in America,” Post Malone sings in the outro.

Standing On The Edge Of Summer

In regards to the meaning of this song: Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.” That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul.

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/
