The song is exactly what it says it is about...Lithium. Lithium was a medication for manic depression...Basically it was an antidepressant. The song was about everyone getting fucked up on Lithium and not caring anymore. "I'm so happy cause today I found my friends there in my head" No one cares about him but he only needs himself. "I'm so ugly thats ok cause so are you broke our mirrors" He just forgets his problem by doing something that makes him forget like taking Lithium. Basically its about how a shit load of people are just taking Antidepressants to not care about problems...The antidepressant of his day was Lithium today it is Prozac.
