"I Want You Now" as written by and Martin Lee Gore....
I want you now
Tomorrow won't do
There's a yearning inside
And it's showing through
Reach out your hands
And accept my love
We've waited for too long
Enough is enough
I want you now
My heart is aching
My body is burning
My hands are shaking
My head is turning
You understand
It's so easy to choose
We've got time to kill
We've got nothing to lose
I want you now
And I don't mean to sound
Like one of the boys
That's now what I'm trying to do
I don't want to be
Like one of the boys
I just want you now
Because I've got a love
A love that won't wait
A love that is growing
And it's getting late
Do you know what it means
To be left this way
When everyone's gone
And the feelings they stay
I want you now
Tomorrow won't do
There's a yearning inside
And it's showing through
Reach out your hands
And accept my love
We've waited for too long
Enough is enough
I want you now
My heart is aching
My body is burning
My hands are shaking
My head is turning
You understand
It's so easy to choose
We've got time to kill
We've got nothing to lose
I want you now
And I don't mean to sound
Like one of the boys
That's now what I'm trying to do
I don't want to be
Like one of the boys
I just want you now
Because I've got a love
A love that won't wait
A love that is growing
And it's getting late
Do you know what it means
To be left this way
When everyone's gone
And the feelings they stay
I want you now

this is my favourite DM song. everything out of david's mouth is sexy."
Martin sings this song; Dave doesn't sing at all... Well, unless you count the groaning, which you can hear loudly in the foreground at the very beginning, as well as in the background throughout the entire song.
Great song by a great band. Martin Gore is a master, and of a dying breed of shy gentlemen that you just don't see around any more. This song is special because it puts the carnal act of sexual lust out in the open, and then proves this is a very normal very human desire. I like how he IS serious about it. Everyone in rock/pop has to make everything about sex oh so taboo, when in fact its a completely natural thing. I think too often men don't know how to handle bursts of sex drive. Martin L. Gore is great because he won't beat around the bush, but he will be tender about it.
It's an ultimatum. He's basically saying that if she doesn't give in, he's going to find someone else to have sex with, because the urge is too strong for him to deny.
