Black Diamond Lyrics
Again I see you standing there watching me.
Your gaze, those eyes are tantalizing openly, inviting meto get close to you,
can't help myself.
There's fascination in the air.
I try to fight this strong sensation but there's no chance to escape
from this temptation.
Feels like I've known you before, repeating phrases,
but I yearn for something more.
I know I can't stay by your side forever,
but I know I won't forget your beauty,
my Black Diamond.

This song is actually talking about a relationship that will never work.
the instrumental peices are sooo beautiful and the intro is pretty epic!! the meaning could be sad but how it is written is so matter-of-factly 'I know I can't stay by your side forever, but I know I won't forget your beauty, my Black Diamond' he knows it won't last forever but he cannot avoid it nonetheless
I read somewhere that Kotipelto wrote the lyrics when his black cat was watching him.
it means my last relationship, jejeje but it's true.
Agree Jutah....
oh.. man this song reminds me a girl who just played whit me, i loved her so much and she was a black diamond yeah but sour as hell , nice song
Gotta love the harpsichord, Stratovarius has a great unique sound and im glad they didnt go with a "heavier" singer
kinda reminds me of the Sirins from the Oddysee
I think this song is about a man who is falling in love with a prostitute who see him frequently. No offense. It's my opinion.
I've read in a interview with Tolkki that he wrote this song when his dog died. So the song is about his dog... Open for many interpretations though. Great song anyways!:)
