I completely adore this song. It has so much emotion in it.

i love this song!!! i first heard it on the "dawsons creek" cd and i cant miss a day without listening to this song. makes you want to call your girl and tell her how much she means to you and how much you love her.

I have always liked this song and never really paid attention to the lyrics, but now that I have I am not so sure it really is a love song. This is my interpretation, I would love to hear some feedback!

I have copied the lyrics and then written my interpretation below as appropriate:

You are in a dark place (depression) and you are vulnerable, you need to be protected from the outside world. I have hope that you will heal with time I hope that one day you will see what I see

I don’t think you are the one for me, because if you were I should be falling for you and I’m not.

I am amazed at who I used to be. I hope by now you have recovered from your depression.
