This i think is one of bush's most under appreciated songs. No one really likes it. I do, its a fun song, id have to say its the lightest one on the album. This and Testosterone. Its fun. i dunno. Yeah
i read somewhere that this song was about cults. That wasnt what i was thinking, but oh well, it makes sense.

Kinda sounds like brainwashing to me...which would make sense with the cult thing ashley007. Everyone just wants stuff and doesn't use their "gravy brains" to be something better. Sucker monkey on a drip sounds like being a drugged up (or comercially conditioned) idiot.
This is one of those albums that got a lot of run by 16 year old me... I always loved the song but never read too deep into the lyrics. I think I hear some throwback tribute / influence from the Rolling Stones' Monkey Man - anyone else hear those lyrical cues? the choppy linear delivery of seemingly unrelated expressive lyrics?
