The mind is all we kiss everything
We say we love it's the skin we're in
You're a retrograde a vacancy
You're the one I love
The hate in me
Lazy day on a darker breed
To have is not what it's made to be
You come alone on a mass attack
Sucking your tantric suck
Fooling your one-eyed cat
We don't mind
We deviate our gravy brains
Set em on fire they're all the same
I am lion face
No sancho panza
I'm riddled by you
I could've been better
I'm a monkey on a drip
Sucker monkey on a drip
You take such pretty photos
When will you be worthy of your good side
Where will you be
When the clouds break
And it all takes
Just a little more than you have
We don't mind

This i think is one of bush's most under appreciated songs. No one really likes it. I do, its a fun song, id have to say its the lightest one on the album. This and Testosterone. Its fun. i dunno. Yeah

I agree Fishopolis...a great song. The bridge is awesome

"You take such pretty photos When will you be worthy of our good side Where will you be When the cloud break And it all takes Just a little more than you have"

But then again, the whole song is great. Now that i know it's about cults I can see where the line "gravy brains" comes in, lol.

Kinda sounds like brainwashing to me...which would make sense with the cult thing ashley007. Everyone just wants stuff and doesn't use their "gravy brains" to be something better. Sucker monkey on a drip sounds like being a drugged up (or comercially conditioned) idiot.

This is one of those albums that got a lot of run by 16 year old me... I always loved the song but never read too deep into the lyrics. I think I hear some throwback tribute / influence from the Rolling Stones' Monkey Man - anyone else hear those lyrical cues? the choppy linear delivery of seemingly unrelated expressive lyrics?
