Shore Lined Poison Lyrics

trials
administer
tidal oil that suffocating

base the fire gold
pouring mercury
life given river
deformed
in amongst
patient
building
raise an urgent call
reformation
strike the picking
miner's claw
kick my ass

waste the given gift
the natural cure
in the age of reason
gone bad

morning
in between the cold stone
ashes fall
upon the wretched
chosen ones
100 megatons
evaporate
those chosen

vaporize
case in point
and deserving it
vaccinate all stranger than
whispering
crushed velvet
corpse grinder
awaiting underneath
??

??
mask
not needed
decisions
from one side of the brain
insolent dented fibres
optic looks the world of growth

ghost destruction

Maybe a hint at the using up of the world's natural resources ? Anyhow this song is awesome. Great whispered vocals and nice alarm sound at the end. Skinny Puppy at their best imo.

yes, this is an incredible song. i honestly feel that SP is a band whose importance on the world of music is comparable to The Beatles, but hardly anyone will ever realize that because most people can't get past the hard-to-understand lyrics and the industrial musical style. What a shame because "Too Dark Park" is an incredibly amazing album that NEVER gets old ONCE YOU LEARN THE LYRICS. COME ON PEOPLE - LEARN, READ AND REALIZE !!!

I think the two sets of question marks ("??") in the lyrics can be roughly transcribed as such, in this order, although I can't guarantee the accuracy:

"returning to the Earth"

and

"unraveled" (with a pause between "un" and "raveled")
