Nature's Revenge Lyrics
weather
turning
towards a storm
broken down road
continue on
coexistance
imitating paradise
unlike any seen
moist has been dancing
crazy overcast
ash grey wording
constantly pushing
pulling
pushes away
drew back
a rusty knife
guilt ladle
pour it on
understand
i burn inside
how to get out of here
how do you get out of this
nature's revenge
nature
cage craving wonder
the worth of it
scream at the top of your lungs
so many times
tried not to wonder
so many times
tried not to wonder
so many times
tried not to wonder
turning
towards a storm
broken down road
continue on
coexistance
imitating paradise
moist has been dancing
crazy overcast
ash grey wording
pulling
pushes away
a rusty knife
guilt ladle
pour it on
understand
i burn inside
how to get out of here
how do you get out of this
nature's revenge
nature
the worth of it
scream at the top of your lungs
so many times
tried not to wonder
so many times
tried not to wonder
so many times
tried not to wonder

The planet Earth is finally seeking revenge on mankind. Apparently in the form of severe weather. The end refers to how humans try to reject the idea of completely ruining the planet it finally happens.
We "tried not to wonder" what it'd be like for too long and our excess led to our own downfall
I think this song is about married life, and how one person ends up wanting to kill the other. Guilt, anger, fear, arguments... this kind of relationship in the framework of this song can also be attributed to our destroying of the Earth as the person above this comment has stated...
I agree, jejh. SP were truly great in the 80's and early 90's but now they just plain suck. Their latest albums aren't up to their old standards at all. I miss Duck.
oh, and i forgot to say this is a f***ing amazing song by a band that as of 2007 just isn't as good as they were in the 1990s. they were the most incredible band in the world at that time, and yet very few people know about them or understand them.... what a shame.... i would honestly compare their importance to that of the Beatles. -- dont laugh, it's really true if you listen to SP very closely and read ALL of their lyrics. just an amazing amazing band. incredible lyrics and true "artists". too bad they aren't what they used to be anymore.
