Convulsion

What an amazing opening track to an equally amazing album. There will simply NEVER be another song like this or another album like "Too Dark Park". Skinny Puppy was definitely at their creative peak with "Too Dark Park". No matter how many times I hear "Convulsion" i never get tired of it.

Oh, and this song simply cannot be explained or defined. It's true meaning is the mental imagery you get personally when you read the lyrics while listening to the song. But, if I had to choose a song meaning for it, it would be "drug overdose".

So Pluto's shores are one border of the river styx or lethos, encompassing hades or hell. "heaven's trash" is mentioned explicitly, so that's heaven and hell in the same song. "Mass direction" may imply a transition from one to the other.

Scathing vapors and eye circles may relate to a smoked drug.

Oh and like oh my god, this song is like the greatest. I heard it's about like darkness and stuff, and when I heard it i'm like reminded of when my cat like threw up on my homework and stuff and crap. Like, songmeanings comments are so like helpful.

Ok, thinking about it, flower cauldron is a pretty strong hint that someone's cooking up a brew of flowers. Considering the phrase 'heaven's trash', the frantic tone of the song and the song's name, i'm inclined to guess datura, aka jimsum weed, aka 'angel's trumpet'.
