this song makes me sad. the lyrics are simple but effective and easy to understand.
"How can the world just CARRY ON?" I love this song and especially that line....
IMO, this song is obviously about the passing of a loved one, and that our loved ones, dead or alive, watch over us in our time of need
and with that said, I've got to say, that the live version of this song is (believe it or not) even more touching and powerful, atleast on my Mother Earth DVD where it's sung as a duet
At first i heard it and i thought of like a parent and their child goin into the world and leaveing them but it can also be about looseing a child but i think it has something to do with a mother child relationship -nancy
i came across this song when i was looking for some lyrics that would suite a funeral type situation, i knew of within temptation and when i saw these lyrics i knew they were perfect....this song couln't be any better, it is sooo touching.
This is the most amazing song I have ever heard. It got me into WT a little while ago, and, thought I love just about all their songs, this is still my favorite. It is so touching and beautiful; I never get tired of listening to it.
Why do they say it is Tarja Turunen featuring Sharon? xD I just saw a part of the video and the other singer is not even alike Tarja... Lol
