Is This Love? Lyrics
wanna love you and treat you right
I wanna love you every day and every night
We'll be together with a roof right over our heads
We'll share the shelter of my single bed
We'll share the same room, Jah provide the bread
Is this love, is this love
Is this love, is this love that I'm feelin'?
(Repeat)
I wanna know, wanna know, wanna know now
I got to know, got to know, got to know now
I, I'm willing and able
So I throw my cards on your table
I wanna love you
I wanna love and treat you right
I wanna love you every day and every night
We'll be together with a roof right over our heads
We'll share the shelter of my single bed
We'll share the same room, oh, Jah provide the bread
Is this love, is this love,
Is this love, is this love that I'm feelin?
(Repeat)
Oh, yes I know, yes I know, yes I know now. (Repeat)
I, I'm willing and able
So I throw my cards on your table
See, I wanna love you
I wanna love and treat you right, love and treat you right
I wanna love you every day and every night
We'll be together with a roof right over our heads
We'll share the shelter of my single bed
We'll share the same room, Jah provide the bread
We'll share the shelter of my single bed.
I wanna love you every day and every night
We'll be together with a roof right over our heads
We'll share the shelter of my single bed
We'll share the same room, Jah provide the bread
Is this love, is this love that I'm feelin'?
(Repeat)
I got to know, got to know, got to know now
So I throw my cards on your table
I wanna love you
I wanna love and treat you right
I wanna love you every day and every night
We'll be together with a roof right over our heads
We'll share the shelter of my single bed
We'll share the same room, oh, Jah provide the bread
Is this love, is this love that I'm feelin?

Hehehe. Peace all rasta's :)
haha, I think adding a song to a relationship kills the song, just think when you break up, this song will just remind you of the person you lost. but anyways this is a good love song to me because there is nothing about money or asthetics, he will share all he has even if it isnt much. When you think about it sharing all you have when you have barely anything means more than sharing only part of your belongings when you have a lot. Oh well just my little take on things.
every single time I play this song, I cry. tears of joy, tears of pain. my ex and i used to listen to it together, and in the beginning of our relationship, i had this song playing in my car all the time, and id look over at him, asking myself and him, "IS this love that i'm feeling?" we were both new to the whole love thing. turns out it wasn't.. or we'd still be together. still an amazing song. one of my favorites by the talented bob marley;)
this is going to be my wedding song

this is me and my boyfriend's song
so incredibly beautiful. an amazing talent that is missed dearly by many, to this day. even by generations that were not exposed to bob when he was alive. his music transcends generations. incredible.
