they broke up a while ago...dan went to join another band..the fold...but then i heard the fold broke up too..so im not sure.
so, FYI for those that don't know. The Fold (original line up with most of Showoff) did break up, but Dan started the band again, with a rotating lineup until they settled on one 6 months before getting signed to Tooth and Nail.
